A detailed strategic review of the Premier League club's primary digital products
Digital product review
West Ham commissioned us to perform a detailed review of their existing digital products, focused on their website, ecommerce store and fan app. We developed a set of core themes, doing a deep dive into key areas of the products whilst also reviewing the overall UI and content design approach.
Competitor analysis
Whilst reviewing their platforms we also explored how other football clubs across the globe were tackling similar challenges. Within our presentation we pulled out examples of best practise and innovation in the sector.
Recommendations
The review was presented back to the client with clear recommendations for areas and ideas to explore when they undertake a redesign of their platforms. The presentation contained a mixture of quick wins and longer term recommendations, giving them clear, structured advice on how to improve the fan experience.
